Most cards charge a 2.5% to 3% processing fee on rent, negating any rewards. Only Bilt cards earn on rent fee-free. Rent does not count toward any welcome bonus minimum spend. Even Bilt requires non-housing spend to earn its welcome bonus.

Your Credit Score
Spending rewards only. This calculator estimates value from category earn rates and welcome bonuses. It does not factor in other benefits your card may carry, such as travel credits, airport lounge access, purchase protections, extended warranties, rental insurance, or redemption bonuses, all of which can add significant value beyond what's shown here.
All points valued at 1¢ per point for simplicity. Actual value varies based on how you redeem, and transfer partners may yield more.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Cardocrat credit card rewards calculator free?

Yes. It is completely free with no signup, account, or personal information required. Enter your monthly spending and you see your ranked results instantly.

How does the calculator value points and miles?

Every point and mile is valued at a flat 1 cent each, the same honest standard applied to every card. Cardocrat deliberately does not inflate airline or hotel valuations, so no card looks better than it really is.

How many credit cards does it compare?

It ranks every major U.S. credit card (60+) across all major issuers, including Chase, American Express, Citi, Capital One, Bilt, Wells Fargo, and Discover.

Does it include welcome bonuses and annual fees?

Yes. Results are ranked by real first-year value: your estimated category earnings plus the welcome bonus you would realistically hit, minus the annual fee.

Is Cardocrat biased toward cards that pay it a commission?

No. Cards are ranked purely by the dollars you would actually earn on your spending, not by what pays Cardocrat. That is the opposite of how most comparison sites order cards.

Does the calculator count rent payments?

Only for cards that genuinely earn on rent (Bilt). For every other card, rent does not earn rewards and does not count toward a welcome bonus, because issuers and rent processors block it or charge fees.
